'Maten al Mosquito!' SAE Buenos Aires are throwing a party!!!

On Friday 1st May 2009 we are hosting a fundraising party 'Maten al Mosquito’ for the people of Chaco.

Venue: Caffarena 84 (La Boca)
Time: @11pm - the early hours!
Entrance Fee: AR$15 (non-members) plus a small donation
AR$10 (SAE members) plus a small donation

El Viernes 1º de Mayo de 2009, vamos a organizar una fiesta para recaudar fondos para la gente del Chaco llamada 'Maten al Mosquito.'

El lugar: Caffarena 84
La hora: a partir de las 23hs
La entrada: AFR$10 (socios de SAE)
AR$15 (no socios)

Why are we throwing this party????

The people of Chaco, one of the most northern provinces of Argentina, is one of the many places around the globe suffering from an epidemic of dengue fever, for which there is no preventative medicine. The high level of poverty in the region means that they are in great need of support in order to fight this disease and here at SAE Buenos Aires, we want to do our part.

El Chaco, una de las provincias más boreales de la Argentina, es uno de los muchos lugares del globo que sufren una epidemia de dengue, para la cual no existe ninguna clase de medicina preventiva. Debido al alto nivel de pobreza en la región necesitan de mucho apoyo para combatir esta enfermedad y desde SAE Buenos Aires queremos hacer nuestra parte.

All donations will go directly to Casa Del Chaco who will then organise the distribution of the items to the people of Chaco (anything can be of help including bottled water, clothes, etc.). It is hoped that with our help, and the help of all our faithful SAE members, we will be able to ease a little of the problems faced day to day by the Chaqueños (people from Chaco), particularly in the face of the current dengue fever epidemic.

Todas las donaciones serán enviado directamente al Casa Del Chaco que organizara la distribucion de las cosas al Chaco (cualquier cosa puede ayudar incluyendo (agua embotellada, ropa, etc.). Tenemos la esperanza de que, con nuestra ayuda y la de los leales miembros de SAE, podremos aliviar un poco los problemas cotidianos de los chaqueños, sobre todo ahora que enfrentan la epidemia de dengue.
